Report

Report:A very comfortable start to the evening with Geoff's win happening in the bar, his favourite type.

First actually on court were Si and Paul. Si got off to a flyer, managing to move Paul about well and taking the first easily. Paul changed his game up in the second and third to good effect but Si was able to see the match out with a typical performance of percentage squash....sort of.

Didnt see any of Neil against Ron but Ron seems to have taken this fairly easily, preventing Neil from getting back into the match as happened in the first half.

Lee against Rob was a strange match, the unforced error count only beaten this summer by the disqualified Chinese badminton team. Rob eventually edged out a match neither seemed to want to win.

Last on was Matt and Keith. Keith had clearly been reading Andy Murray match reports all day. Scraping the first in an epic tie break, doing what it needed in the second before conceding the next two. As last night, it appeared the match was now going one way but Matt was struggling with his back before the start of the fifth and Keith took full advantage despite Matt taking an early lead. Tight line and length being enough to draw the errors that had been unusually prevelant in Matt's game this evening. Fortunately for everyone this didnt end at 3am but the match went BLT's way despite only having 4 men.

Probably not the best nights squash you'll ever watch, apart from yours truly of course, but a tight match nonetheless.
