| Report: | First home match for team 4 at the Langley towers against OLDe .
Super girl Gina fresh from her Manchester win started the evening against John, John soon aware this was going to be a hard night for him, GIna working him to all corners. John put in extra effort in the third but Gina was too strong on the night 3-0
Big Marky was on court 1 v Paul and looked in control in the first but went to sleep in the second 1-1 The third saw Marky using his bulk to drive the ball to the back of the court to take the third and the fourth in quick order 3-1 .
Next up Superman sorry EXtra large Superman Dave v Craig .The first two games was a master class from Mr Harris showing his fantastic racket skills. Then someone told Craig that Dave was not running and that was that,all the wheels fell off,the suspension collapsed,and Daves engine seized,good effort tho Dave 2-3.
Ex captain v Keith These two have played before and always have a good game this was no exception. The game swung both ways right into the fith 6-6 7-7 8-8 9-9 it could have been the other way but Kevin kept his nerve to take the Langley points,best match of the night well done to both players.
Last on Andy v Simon.
Simon started like a train taking the first 9-1. Andy then started to play and worked Simon front and back to edge the second 9-7 .Then a quick sleep by Andy saw the third go 9-0 . A bigger effort in the fourth from Andy but Simon was playing too many winners and eased the game 1-3 .
So a home win for the heavy bunch (not Gina) and now ready for BLT next week even if we are without 5 key players.
