| Report: | What a night of squash!
Bromley LTC turned up with team capable of winning Div 2 all ready to duff us up!
Peter v Nick, all went Petes way much too good and sharp. John v Keith. Considering John had never beaten Keith we all thought 'not to worry'! John though had other ideas, 3 - 1 to John, great stuff. Andy v Ray, our Andy much to strong 3 - 0, so now we are already 3 up!.
Mo v Rob - Two lads who worked and worked, could have gone either way but Rob held on and clinched it 2 - 3.
And then on comes Ted Jeal facing everybody thought our sacrifical lamb in George - trouble was no-one told George - he went two games up and only a couple points short of the match. In the end lost 2 - 3. tremendous individual and team performances. Got to stop now - a tear has come into my eye!! |
