Report

Report:First on were Si and Christo, a close first game just went Christo's way. From there on Si's troublesome back got tighter and tighter leading to even more errors and allowed Christo to see out a comfortable, though still tiring, win. Si desperately hoping for the return of other senior players so some much needed physiotherapy can be had!

On the other court Alisdair and Rob also went toe to toe in a tight first before Alisdair's fitness and ever improving ability saw him pull away for another good win - an increasingly occuring theme!

A short sojourn followed whilst waiting for players on both sides to show before Sean and Keiran went on. Keiran is just leaving the junior ranks and Sean just about to step up to u-17s and their time in the Kent junior ranks really showed through as they undoubtedly played the match of the evening. Some great squash from both players ensued and Sean pushed Keiran all the way with the winner quite pleased he managed to seal it in 4! A great advert for the Kent junior system.

On the other court were Geoff and Graham. Geoff started off slowly to say the least, mobility being a bit of an issue. He grew into the game but Graham had too much consistency in the end and took a deserved win.

Last on were Lee and Andy. Lee hasn't really played in the last 2-3 months and it showed at times, with Andy's unorthodox style and ability to hit a winner from seemingly anywhere causing some issues. Despite the lack of court time, Lee remains very quick around court and his ability to keep the rallies going managed to tire Andy out enough to take a 3-0 win.

A good evenings squash with the limelight well and truly stolen by the youngsters!
