Report

Report: This was a crucial match at the the top of the league as PL4 had toppled BCC from the top last week with a good win.

Chris v Richard - After an unusual loss last week Chris was keen to improve the stats. On a hot court it was a case of keep it tight and vary the pace, very hard to find a nick! Chris accomplished this with clinical precision :-) apart from when he decided to hack the ball to death! 3-0 to Chris.

Rich v Nilen - Despite the score line this was a great match. Nilen being half the weight of Rich moved around the court with ease to take a 5-2 lead in the first but Rich, now down to an 'A' cup started to find a good length on the hot courts to pinch the 1st 9-7 Rich went on to take the next two but there were many hand outs providing a great match.Lucky it wasn't PAR 11 eh!

Tom v Tom - Didn't see this match but our Tom seemed to be 'on it' and went about business in swift manner.

Big Andy v Steve - Andy went on with a chest infection and heavy cold, this didn't bode well! Steve was getting around the court like a man possessed retrieving everything while Big Andy was quite the opposite unable to get the legs moving. Steve took the first two with Andy having a moan about Steve bashing into him, more the fact that Andy was somewhat immobile. Big Andy realised he had to think about this cos max points were imperative, he dug in and moved Steve around the court until he made the mistake. Andy took the match 3-2 with a resounding 9-2 in the 5th.

Stew v Robbie - Stew being struck down by the same disease as Big Andy started out ok but really didn't have the legs to carry it through. Robbie took the match 3-2, he also took a bit of advice in the bar regarding his new love interest ,watch this space :-)

Man of the match - voted by the team! Big Andy

Good night all round
