| Report: | We welcomed Cascades to Langley towers with a strong team after the summer holidays .
First on Super G v Pat. Pat starting strongly in the first with some nice shots catching G out taking the first . The second saw super G get into the longer rallies which he likes and work pat hard 1-1. Super G then stretched his legs and took the next two games.
On the other court Stu v Alan Having the scare of being dropped by stand in captain T shirt last week Stu had to play well and he did taking it in three ,good effort from Alan in the second but not enough.
Andy v Chris the longest game of the night saw both players up and down wrong times ,at 7-5 up in the fourth saw Andy serve out and chris sneaked the game ,chris then steamed to a 5-0 in the last and closed out the match well played chris. On the other court Kaptin Kev T Shirt v Pops. These two always have a great match and always 3-2. Kev normally wins and he did again but a great effort from pops .
Last on Simon v Craig. Simon really didn't enjoy this one after his summer break looking a little slow and Craig was the last person he needed to play 3-0 in short time .
So a 3-2 match win with 16 points not 2 shabby .
Always good to see the Cascades boys and hope to see you in the Winter . |
