| Report: | The last match of this glorious summer season at the mighty Langley Towers , After a few calls from the langleys powers we were moved over to our sisters courts at Od .Cascades had come without Dad and Son Hubert and early signs showed a good night for PL .
First Andy v John fairly straightforward win for Andy in quick time to get the ball rolling - to be fair john was a bit rusty as has been on holiday .
Gina v Hani Gina worked well in the first with Hani not really getting his game together ,the second Hani was unlucky not to level the match but Gina sneaked it ,the third Gina played dome some shots not letting Hani bash the hell out of it 3/0
Kev v Chris. This was closer than the scores show with Kev holding out the fourth ,but not without chris battling every point a few close decisions had to be marked with a firm stick .
Dave v Alan. A bit one sided this one as Dave completed his unbeaten season a gallant effort from Alan but was always gonna be an uphill struggle .
Simon v Tony Last up simon who wanted to reverse the previous result between these two in the first half and this he duly did , didn't see much of this as marking but all account played well to take the match in 3 .
So a 5/0 20 point win and Bexley only getting 8 the PL gang slipped into 2nd place , a great season had by all with some great efforts and memorable moments ,not to mention the latest points deductions which will need sorting before the next season . Many thanks to Gerald and Steve for helping out ,and thanks to our other two regular players Mickey fast legs Collins and Stu Melbourne (porky Plummer) both of which had great seasons .
