| Report: | First match Justyn v Nick both players were set on smashing the life out of the ball until it burst early in the second game , tight first 2 games but when Justyn won the second on a tie break Nick seemed to lose his way a bit and Justyn took advantage ruthlessly and won the third 9/0, Steve v Ben great squash played by Steve and a well deserved win in 3 at this point we were looking good but then things got tough. Tim v Amar exhausting match to watch this one both players very well matched but Amar just kept on running and running and running Tim gave it his all but by the end could barely stand let alone run 3-1 to Amar ,Mehmet v Mark first 2 games going to Mark who was playing some fast and hard squash were as Mehmet who was under pressure was playing well below himself but Mehmet upped his game in the third and with Mark tiring won the next 3 games and bagged the bonus points, last match Pat v Ben Pat really struggle against Ben and lost the first 2 games but dug in and won a very tight tie break in the third. Pat now had the bit between his teeth and all the shots that weren't coming off earlier on in the match now were and he went on to win the match 3- 2. A very enjoyable night of squash with a good group of lads we are already looking forward to the return leg |
