| Report: | A fine night of squash with Bexley all ready to go by 8:15. This seemed to please Jolly Early John for some unexplained reason.
Bexley were just a little too strong on the night and the young, fit lads at 1,2 & 4 took good advantage of shots that just wouldn't die.
The best co-ordinated were the 3 strings who obviously read the 'make sure you wear black' memo. Tom tried to gain an addition physiological advantage by upping the ante at the end of the knock up and cunningly added black bandanna. I couldn't counter such a fashion coup de grâce, so the gloves were off. I responded by hitting lots of ugly shots where the ball did not encounter a string along its journey to the wall. Touché (and sorry).
The match of the night looks to have been at the 5 strings, so well done Vic and Chris. A good win for our Vic who all-to-often manages to grab defeat from the verge of Victory (sorry Vic, you know I love you)
Thanks to JEJ for marking a match and to adding the obligatory sighs and exasperated noises from the balcony (right next to me whilst I was marking ).
