Report: | The combined might of Knole Park's 1st and second team squads were not enough to see off the reorganised Bexley 3s (Sorry Warligham for having to cry off your first foray into Kent, but it was in a noble cause - six players into two teams don't go).
Tim Handel and Chris Morgan made a good fist of trying to best the younger Bexley stars. Chris in particular enjoyed the orthodox style of his opponent (one quarter of his age, but no excuses offered). Lilly will very shortly be out of reach as she soars up the scale. Chris capitalised on a bit of inexperience to level at 2-2 and even made it to 8-all in the fifth before the legs said 'stop'.
Niall found a rejuvenated and almost unrecognisable Rob hard to handle. When you couple years of experience and skills to die for with a svelte figure, the package is irresistible.
John, way out of his depth, amused the crowd for a few points, but Louis soon tired of the feeble resistance offered and romped home with some inch-perfect casual lobbing.
David and Scott provided the best contest of the night. Scott, showing a vast improvement on their previous encounter, nevertheless found David's occasional flashes a bridge too far. [Better sharpen up for the return, David. He's comin' for you.']
